To put it mildly, it's been a rough week.  The devil knows we are on the verge of something awesome for the Lord and he is "TRYING" to wreak havoc in my life and I am tired of it!!!  Well today, between Joel Osteen and then Pastor Brent Salyers I would say we successfully  told the devil to "GO TO HELL"!!!  Joel spoke directly to the struggles I have been having and Pastor Brent spoke to where we are headed and what exciting things we have to share with others!!!!  Pastor Brent especially hit on points that we really needed to hear and confirmed our path and at this point what we should do.  I so appreciate Pastors in our lives that truly want the best for us and understand the struggles we face.  Love to you all and more later this week.

Well the bottom has fallen out and it is down right nippy outside as well as raining like cats and dogs.  Ohio weather has returned and we are so looking forward to taking off a week from today heading toward Texas.  Uncle John sent us an email to advise that it is still up in the 80s and only going down into the 70s.   We are staying warm and dry, thank the Lord and it just makes us appreciate the nice weather days that much more.  Found out today that my mom has to have a couple of procedures done on Monday to find out why she is bleeding internally.  Prayers for her would be greatly appreciate.  I hope everyone has a great weekend and try and stay warm and dry.

Well we both decided this morning that it looked like, weather wise after today the bottom was going to fall out.  Was suppose to hit 79 today and 59 tomorrow, I cannot wait to get to Texas.  We had an awesome day, Gary even got some sun on his cheeks and head.  Bracing for the cold tomorrow and I think we even heard that dreaded four letter word that begins with an "s" for next week.  The back to his wheelchair arrived today in Columbus so it is a go for installation next Thursday the 1st.  Blessings to all for a wonderful evening.

I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post, but if you had any idea what we have been up to you would understand.  I should be able to post more this week and just wanted to let you know we have arrived at our final Ohio destination, Alton RV Park in Galloway, Ohio and await the new back for Gary's wheelchair.  We just got here two days ago and I have got to run to the store for food.  I don't know why, but Gary insists on eating.  LOL  More later, have a blessed day.

Well before heading to Streetsboro, I got wind of the fact that my Aunt Jane & Uncle John Becker from Livingston, Texas were coming into Columbus for a few days.  They were planning to meet up with my father, Aunt Sally and Aunt MaryEllen at the Dutch Heritage for lunch today at the Bellville exit off I-71.  Since Gary and I were still in Mansfield, we packed up a little early and headed down to see them.  We were so excited to share the RV with them and just catch up, if only for a little bit.   MaryEllen, Sally & Jane are all sisters of my Dad's and are just such wonderful ladies.  They have been such a big part of my entire life, it was great to catch up.  We are so looking forward to spending the next six months in TX with Jane & John in Livingston.  It will be awesome to get to know my cousins who live in this area.  Jane & John have promised to teach Gary & I the ins and  outs of dominos.  We are very blessed to be able to stay so near to family while all the logistics get lined up for this journey that we are on for the Lord.

It is raining quite a bit today and a great day to just take at easy and relax.  I don't do this that often and seems odd to me when I do.  I feel like I should be doing something, and yet really can't because we are in a restaurant parking lot.  Blessings to you all and stay dry.  Ra

Well tomorrow we head out again, this time we will arrive in Streetsboro at the KOA.  Full hook-up will be nice so I can do some laundry.  Now don't get me wrong, Gary does have clean cloths (LOL), but I try to not use our resources when we are boon-docking!!!  We have enjoyed our time here with our forever church family and it is hard to leave, but we do it for our Lord and for the kingdom.  We have been members here for about 10 years, Gary and I were married by Pastor Ross Wiseman our former Associate Pastor.  We could not have survived Gary's accident and all the things that have gone on in the last 6+ years and we could never say Thank-You enough to all of our family that we leave here.  We will be back and always be in their hearts.  If you are ever in the Mansfield, Ohio area and want to visit a truly wonderful church, please stop by Mansfield First Assembly of God on McPherson Street, just off Route 30.

Well after a quick trip to Craig Smith RV in Galion yesterday, we are now in our home church's parking lot.  It is good to be back amonst so many people who love us and have been with us since Gary first broke his neck.  I have missed my tech-geek, Pastor Robert.  This young many has a God given talent for fixing anything.   Last night, Gary and I both had to laugh.  At 2:23am, yes I said 2:23am the garbage truck arrived in the parking lot to empty the church dumpster.  Did I happen to mention that we are set up right beside it.  We both heard lots of trucks and Gary said he was listening to some drag racing somewhere close.  I was so tired from the move yesterday, I slept well until 2:23am.  It was SO LOUD!!!!!  We have some our best conversation in the middle of the night when that happens and when we laugh like that, it is always good.  Well gotta run, lost to do business wise while I am in town.  Blessings to you all for following us along and keeping us in our prayers.  Ra

Well we are here in Berlin and visiting with Gary's family for the final time this year until we return to the area next Spring.  Gary's mom, Arlene is 97 years young, still living by herself and STILL driving her car to church and the grocery.  When she is not here with us, she is at Gary's brother Ron's house and we Skype her in the evening.  She is amazed with the fact that she can see Gary and it is almost like he is right there.   She is such an angel and we will miss her this winter, but we know we are doing what we feel God would like us to do for the kingdom and we are excited about that.  Blessings to all of you for what you are doing today and our prayers are with all of you.  Love ya,  Ra

Well, today we landed in lovely Amish Counrty and I have got to tell you I am glad we now have full hook-up, but am missing "Chez Metz" tremendously.  My sister and her family let us "squat" in their driveway for about 18 days and I have got to say it was wonderful.  My nieces, Hannah (10) and Mary (5) are adorable.  They both started school, while we were there.  May lost her first tooth and they both came over every morning before school to give us a style show of what they were wearing to school that day.  Hartville is such a great community and I found out it is a "dry" community.  I thought I saw a truck runnin shine down Geib, but I wasn't' sure.  We again, had a wonderful time, but we were tucked in a nest of trees and I know you are thinking that well the shade must have been nice in this heat.  Well, yes that was nice, but it blocked out satellite dome and we had no TV for the entire time.  Now I am a football fan, I love, love, love preseason and a NASCAR fan.  Can you say I was "FIT TO BE TIED".  HaHaHa.  We survived, but we were both jumping for joy today when we switched on the satellite, the DirecTv box and then TV and walla we had last weeks NASCAR Race at Atlanta.  I was halleluiahing all over the RV.  Gary thought I had lost my mind.  Well, without the TV for that long, I think I might have.  But it is funny, as I sit here updating the BLOG and am not even missing the TV.  Miracles do happen.  Well enough for now, blessings to you all and thanks again for keeping us in your prayers.  Rv

Well we no longer have a kitchen table area, it is now officially my desk.  I am so blessed to have Thirty-One in my life and am excited to get back into it.  We have our NEW Fall Catalog coming out September 1st, and I really need to hit it to keep the business going.  This really helps Gary and I with purchases for his items that insurance will not cover and believe me there are quite a few.  So having said that, if you would like to have a book party in September or October, please let me know.  I am trying to run at least 5 a month until we get to Texas in October.  We can do book parties via the mail and will sustain me for a couple of months.  Please keep this area of our lives in your prayers, because we really feel this was brought to us for a reason and will continue it even on the road.  Have a blessed evening, enjoy the cooler weather and God Bless.  Ra
