Sunday, November 18th, 2012 we arrived at Church on the Lake for our very first service.  Having left Mansfield First Assembly and Pastor Blair, we prayed we would find a church and Pastor that were at least comparable.   We didn't have to "find" anything, God leads!!!  After that first Sunday, we never looked again.  Pastor Ed, his lovely wife Arlene and this entire church are so welcoming, so caring and so alive with the Holy Spirit, I don't know how the roof stays on sometimes.  Pastor Ed has a gift that can only be given by God.  He brings the word to life and his fervency is like no other.  He is the definition of a "Truly Godly Man".  We will miss them all very much over the next 4 months, and are looking forward to coming "home" in late August.  If you live in or around Livingston, Texas, I recommend this church family with an A+++ rating.  Check them out, you will see God like you have never seen him before!!!

I can't believe it has been two months since I have logged on here.  Needless to say, I am still very busy.  My Thirty-One team and business is booming here in Texas!  New team members always take a little more work, but they are soooo worth it.

I am jumping on here today because we are sharing a little bit of our testimony with our home church in Texas this Sunday, Church on the Lake and we are so excited!!!  This church as become so dear to us in the last few months and we are going to miss them all terribly while we are away this summer.  Now don't get me wrong, we WILL NOT miss the heat, but the new friends we have made, well they are friends for life!!!  Blessings to all for a wonderful weekend!!!

Well today my youngest brother turns 39 years old.  Because we are 11 years apart, we are not terribly close, but every year I call him on his birthday and sing "Happy Birthday" to him.  This year was extra special because we are so far away.  He has such a tender heart and I am so blessed to have him in my life.  I was telling Gary, one year when he was in high school, he would not leave the house in the morning because I had not called and sang.  Well my mother kept telling him Patrick, you have to go to school, Ruth Ann will call later and sing, but he would not budge.  So my mom called me on the "down low" and the call was made!!!

Well I can't believe it is February 1st and this is the first time I am blogging in 2013.  Can you say busy?  January has flown by and it is truly a blur in my world.  From trying to get two "31" parties set up, held, orders places, and delivered.  Gary and I both have gotten a small version of the flu.  Thank God he only got a little bit of the frog in the throat.  We finally got to have a meal with our new Pastor Ed and his lovely wife Arlene from Church on the Lake here in Livingston.  We are still in awe that God placed us with the perfect church right out of the block when we arrived here.  We were so sad to leave MFA last year and were sure we would never find another church that we just "clicked" with, but COTL has truly become that church.  These people are so welcoming, caring and loving.  We are very happy to have found all of them.  We are excited that they have asked us to share our testimony in some form within the next couple of months and look forward to where God has us going to next as we plan our exit from Texas on May 1st.  We have decided that this will be our home for at least 7 months out of the year, but are looking forward to seeing family and friends this summer in CO and OH.  Please continue to keep us in your prayers and I will try to blog a little more often to let you know how we are and where we are headed.

As this year comes to a close and I look back on it, I am amazed at what we have done.  Sold our home, two cars, all possessions, bought an RV and a car dolly, then hit the road for Texas.  Bumps along the way, melt downs and crying.  All that aside, we could not have done what we have done and would not have even attempted it with out our Lord and Savior as our guide.  If you don't think that God is real, your WRONG!!!  The past six years since Gary broke his neck is proof that there is a God, he is my God and I could not even attempt to do what I have done since May 29, 2006.  Prayers to all who read this and much love from both of us . . . oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!!!

We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas with family & friends.  Remember the reason for the season and take some time today to thank our heavenly Father for the most precious gift that any of us have ever received, His son.  Blessings to you all!

Well, we arrived November 4th and I feel like we have been here much longer than a month.  The weather is great, but it is odd not seeing snow in December.  Now don't get me wrong, I am REALLY enjoying this weather, just think I will miss it on the 25th, but not any sooner and not after.  HeHeHe  We are finally starting to settle in and getting everything up and running.  My Thirty-One business was great for November and I got my first $1,000 paycheck.  Another one of my goals achieved!!!  The real awesome part of that is almost $400 was what I made on my team from their sales.  Talk about working "smarter, not harder".  They have been such a blessing to me.  I actually have the privilege of Co-Hosting our Spring Premier in Beaumont, TX this Sunday and I am so excited.  One a year, for this now the second year, Thirty-One "Premier" one of the new catalogs in theaters.  Yes I said in theaters.  It's like a movie only better.  Well since I attained Directorship early this year  I was offered the opportunity to Co-Host and I jumped at it.  This is going to be great and even better because Gary, since we are kinda attached at the hip, is going with me.  This ought to be a hoot, him and 80 other Thirty-One consultants all excited about the Spring Catalog.  More details to be posted next week.  HeHeHe

My mom is doing great and well on her way.  Tumor was cancer, but they got it all and it had not spread to any of the 20 lymph nodes that they took also.  Surprise though, they decided her gall bladder needed to come out also as it had well over 100 stones in it.  A two for one surgery, whooottt!!!  She said to say thanks for all the prayers, cards and support.  You all blessed her and I so very much with your love.  Blessings and prayers right back to you all.  Love ya and God Bless,  Ra

Well yesterday we found out that my mom, Alice has a tumor just above her colon, it is more than likely cancer, she has to have surgery (sooner rather than later) and well, we are all in shock.  No one in my family has had cancer and with everything else that is going on in my parents' lives, this is just a little much.  Most of you know my mom for her cooking, her caring personality and love for people in general.  Well she needs us all now!!!  Prayer warriors unite, post comments here and I will get them to her.  She needs us all to pray her through this season in her life.  I thank you all in advance for all your prayers and if you would like to send a snail mail get well card, you can mail it to:  Alice Delagrange, 3397 Bristol Lane, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.  Love to you all and stay safe!

What a night.  60+mph winds while "TRYING" to sleep in an RV, well let's just say it didn't work to well.  All I could do is continue to pray for all the people hit much worse on the East Coast.  So glad we are heading to TX this Friday.  Gary and I thought we would be long gone before this kind of weather arrived.  Stay warm, stay safe and always know that someone somewhere has it much worse than you.
