Well we no longer have a kitchen table area, it is now officially my desk.  I am so blessed to have Thirty-One in my life and am excited to get back into it.  We have our NEW Fall Catalog coming out September 1st, and I really need to hit it to keep the business going.  This really helps Gary and I with purchases for his items that insurance will not cover and believe me there are quite a few.  So having said that, if you would like to have a book party in September or October, please let me know.  I am trying to run at least 5 a month until we get to Texas in October.  We can do book parties via the mail and will sustain me for a couple of months.  Please keep this area of our lives in your prayers, because we really feel this was brought to us for a reason and will continue it even on the road.  Have a blessed evening, enjoy the cooler weather and God Bless.  Ra

Well, when this adventure started, I knew we had to get rid of everything, but I did not think that meant EVERYTHING!  Boy there sure is not a lot of room in this here RV.  I remember once when our illustrious lead Pastor said you never give up, you only trade up.  I just keeping repeating that and it gets me through.  I feel bad that we have not been able to really have anyone out to see the place, but quite frankly there is no real room to move around at this point and I am not kidding.  I have to clear a path, just to move Gary around.  This takes "close encounters" to a whole nother level.  I will say I made some progress today though, Mom and I went to the old place and got everything else out of there and the back room I can actually see the top row of drawers.  Stop laughing, this is true progress in my book.  We will be leaving this area this Saturday and hope to return about mid-September to our home church (Mansfield First Assembly).  More updates to come.  Blessings for a great week and enjoy this cool evening if you can.

Well, we are off.  We packed up this a.m., attached the car dolly to "Brutus", loaded the van and headed out at approximately 10am.  What a feeling to leave behind a "permanent" residence, only to have a house on wheels.  Our home was purchased by an absolutely wonderful family.  Joe, Ashley and their son Nolan have become such great friends so quickly and we will miss seeing them on a semi-regular basis.  Nolan will be taking good care of Buffy & Bailey our cats as they went with the house.  Just one more blessing from God that this was truly the way we were to go.

We have landed at the KOA campground in beautiful Shelby, Ohio and they are awesome.  For my first time pulling into one of these places, they have been a great help.  We will probably be here for a week as we still have some work that needs to be done on "Brutus" at Craig Smith RV.   If you can make it out for a visit, give Gary and call and let us know.  Blessings for a wonderful day.  See ya tomorrow.  Ra

Well, we close on the house on Tuesday the 7th and as we in response to that, we are not going to be "homeless our home will just now have wheels".   We both are just a little apprehensive about this because, let's face it, we either collectively or singularly have ALWAYS owned a home, or at least lived in a building.  We are excited and yet a little taken aback by this.  We are both as ready as we will ever be, and truly do appreciate you continued prayers as we truly begin this next faze of our lives with the Lord.
